Amplifiq ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Amplifiq Agent Portal, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.
2. Data We Collect
- Identity data: full name, National ID number, date of birth.
- Contact data: email address, phone number, county/city of residence.
- Financial data: M-Pesa number or bank account details for payouts.
- Activity data: submissions, task history, earnings, referral activity.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookies.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To verify your identity and activate your agent account.
- To process lead submissions, calculate earnings, and make payouts.
- To attribute referred clients and calculate referral commissions.
- To send you service notifications, task alerts, and support communications.
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the platform.
- To comply with legal obligations including KRA reporting requirements.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data on the bases of (a) contractual necessity — to deliver agent services; (b) legitimate interests — to prevent fraud and improve the platform; and (c) legal obligation — to comply with Kenyan law including the Data Protection Act 2019.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:
- Payment processors (e.g. Safaricom M-Pesa, banking partners) to facilitate withdrawals.
- Cloud infrastructure providers who host the platform under strict data-processing agreements.
- Regulatory authorities where required by law.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and for 7 years thereafter for financial and audit purposes. You may request deletion of your account; however, financial records required by law will be retained for the statutory period.
7. Your Rights
Under the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
- Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

8. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and role-based access controls.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
